There is many ways to travel from Hoi An to Nha Trang. You can go by bus, plane or private car.

My recommendation is to go from Hoi An to Dalat by motorbike. That is the best way to explore this beautiful country.

The private car is of cause expensive and it take long time. The bus takes long time too, and the service is not always so good.

The best way to go from Hoi An to Dalat is by motorbike

DAY 1: Hoi An to Kham Duc (145km)
The driver will take you through the rice fields, for a short stop at the Cham tower and some historic places from the time of the American war. We will follow the Ho Chi Minh trail and visit pineapple plantations and enjoy fresh pineapple (based on season), after some fresh fruit we stop for swimming and relaxing at a waterfall.

Then we continue to the central highland to visit some ethnic minority villages and a historic place where you can learn about the Civil War of  Vietnam that took place before 1975 –  enjoy the breathtaking nature of  the area before we arrive Kham Duc around 5pm. We will overnight in a small town.

Day 2: Kham Duc to Kon Tum (180km)
We leave Kham Duc for Kon Tum and follow highway 14, the Ho Chi Minh trail. On the way we stop for pictures where there is beautiful scenic views. If the weater and season allowes is, we will stop for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall. Along the way we will visit other ethnic minority villages such as Tay, Nung, Ba Na, to learn more about their traditions, customs and cultures.

Continue following the Ho Chi Minh Trail  to visit the Wooden Church in Kon Tum (it was built by the french from 1913 to 1918), and Rong house. We overnight in Kon Tum.

 Day 3: Kon Tum to Buon Me Thuot (225km) 
We leave Kon Tum for Buon Me Thuot after breakfast. Today we will explore the daily life of BaNa and Ede ethnic minority village, learn more about their culture and traditions, we will visit ‘’the Eyes of Pleiku’’, rubber plantation, and visit the DakLak Museum before arriving Buon Me Thuot. We overnight in Buon Me Thuot.

Day 4: Buon Me Thuot via Dray Sap to Lak Lake (120km)
Today we visit another waterfall  – Dray Sap water fall (the biggest water fall in Vietnam), relaxing or swim before we continue to visit the locals and learn how they process the coffee and taste some of the best coffee in Vietnam. We leave for  Lak lake by following small rodas. Stay overnight in natural Lak lake homrstay.

Day 5: Lak lake to Da Lat (165km)
After breakfast we leave Lak lake for our final destination Dalat.  If you like we can reant a boat (not included with the price)  to pass the lake and visit M’lieng ethnic minority village and explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of M’nong tribe. Stop on the way for more pictures of the beautiful nature and a coffee plantation before arriving Dalat and visit the Pren water fall. Tour ends.
